BRONTE DOLCI – PISTACHIO PESTO
Bronte Dolci Pistachio Pesto is made using traditional artisanal methods, with 55% carefully selected pistachios, and is prepared according to the traditional recipe in our pastry shop.
Select-quality extra virgin olive oil combines with chopped pistachios in a mixture you’ll never tire of savoring. Oil, pistachios, salt, and pepper: simple, high-quality ingredients that add a special touch to a pesto that will thrill you!
Directions for use:
A fantastic sauce for pasta and bruschetta. But it also pairs surprisingly well with fish and meat fillets, and as an accompaniment to hearty main courses.
With our pesto, you can get creative with hundreds of recipes.
Here, we’d like to highlight the simplest one: Pennette with Brontedolci pistachio pesto.
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
400 g penne;
Brontedolci Pesto, 190 g;
Chopped pistachios, to taste;
Salt, to taste.
PREPARATION:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Let’s cook the pasta for the amount of time indicated on the package.
Drain the pasta when it is almost fully cooked, keeping it al dente.
PLATING
Return the pasta to the pot over low heat, add the pistachio pesto and stir well for about 30 seconds, ensuring the sauce evenly coats the pasta.
If you’d like, you can also mix in a little ricotta with the pesto, which adds extra creaminess and flavor to the dish.
Serve and finish with a sprinkle of chopped pistachios.
