PISTACHIO FLOUR

Pistachio flour is made by grinding pistachios as finely as possible, until a very fine pistachio powder with a very intense flavor remains. Unlike chopped pistachios, pistachio flour has no coarse particles; it is very smooth and is ideal for all kinds of culinary uses.

Bronte Dolci pistachio flour is made from select, top-quality pistachios, carefully chosen to produce a flour with a more irregular grain size than other flours.

Not only is it tasty, fragrant, and versatile, but it’s also nutritious: pistachio flour retains all the beneficial nutrients of the nuts (which, in this case—unlike chestnut flour—are not subjected to excessively high temperatures before processing) and can be safely consumed by people with celiac disease or wheat protein intolerance because it is gluten-free. It has a notable content of “good fats” (52 g of the total weight), folates such as vitamin B9, and fiber, which helps regulate bowel movements and promotes a feeling of fullness.
