Bronte is a small town in the metropolitan city of Catania, in Sicily, in the southern of Italy.
\nIt is located on a marvelous and scenic valley. The \u201cGreen Gold of Bronte\u201d moves a huge market of 20 million per year, and the pistachio\u2019s producers in Bronte are around 1000. The pistachio cultivated in the amazing territory of Bronte, situated at an elevation of 400 to 900 m above the sea level, represents 1% of the world pistachio production. The Bronte pistachio grows in a Mediterranean climate, under the Sicilian sun, on trees that have their roots in a unique territory: that of the Etna volcano. For this reason, the European Union has recognized the PDO mark, certifying the link of the Bronte Green Pistachio with the production and processing area.
